Hulhumale Ferry/Launch Accident
A Hulhumale ferry on its way to Male and a launch going to Hulhule has collided into each other injuring 8 people and 3 children onboard the ferry, yesterday at 12.00 in the afternoon. This accident happened outside Funadhoo; and according to recent information, the launch involved in this accident was taking tourists from Rannaalhi Resort to Hulhule.
The injured people have already been brought to Male for treatment and the Marine Police are investigating the accident.
