4th Consecutive Championship for the Police Club
The Police Club has won the womens division of Association Cub Volleyball Tournament "Double Six Zero Zero" organized by Volleyball Association of the Maldives. The Police Club won the finals against MNDF with 3 sets to 1 set. The MNDF gave a brilliant show of talent; however, with 3 consecutive championships, the Police Club triumphed.
At the end of the final match, the General Secretary, Shah Ismail of the Football Association handed out the certificates, medals and the trophies. Suhana Ahmed of the Police Club was chosen as the Best Player of the Final Match and the Best Centre of the Tournament. Haleemath Sama of MNDF was chosen as the Best Server and Aishath Shaffa of MNDF was the Best Spiker. Aagila Hameed of the Police Club was the Best Blocker and Aishath Nazima of the Police Club was the Best Digger. Fathmath Aroosha of the Police Club was the Best Libero and the Best Coach went to the coach of Police Club, Mohamed Nadheem. The Police Club also won the Best Team for Fair Play. The Best Player of the whole tournament was also from the Police Club, the captain of the Police Club, Mariyam Sheeneez.
