A dhoni travelling from Feeali has sunk
A dhoni travelling from F. Atoll Feeali to A.DH. Maamigili has sunk due to engine failure. This incident happened this afternoon at 2.00 p.m. 2 miles outside Maamigili. Onboard this dhoni at the time were 2 Maldivians and 1 foreigner. These people got on the dinghy of the dhoni when the dhoni started to sink. They were saved by a launch from Feeali at 3.45 p.m.
The dhoni in this incident was a reef-fishing dhoni and they were travelling to Maamigili for repair as the dhoni was old and worn out.
