Commissioner of Police Ali Shujau has begun an official trip to L. Atoll.

Accompanying the Commissioner on this trip, which began yesterday, are Deputy Commissioner of Police Faruhad Fikury, Assistant Commissioner of Police Ahmed Shifan, Assistant Commissioner of Police Moosa Ali, South Central Region Commander Chief Superintendent of Police Ahmed Azhan, and some executive officers and commissioned officers of the police.

During this trip, which will continue until the 30th of this month, he will meet with some island councils, Women's Development Committees and police officers working in those islands of L. Atoll.

As part of this trip, he has already met with the members of the L. Atoll Council yesterday. During this meeting, discussions were held regarding the development of the atoll, understanding the crime situation in the islands, finding solutions to the concerns of the citizens, ensuring the safety and security of the people, and ways to increase community participation.

Additionally, he will meet with police officers to understand how they work in collaboration with the public and discuss further measures that can be taken to ensure the safety and security of the citizens.
