Rakka Road Show 2024: Road Safety Information Sessions Launched for Employees of Institions in Fuvahmulah City

The program to provide information on road safety to employees of institutions, companies, and associations has begun under the ongoing Rakka Road Show 2024 in Fuvahmulah City.

This program will provide information on land transport laws and regulations and the latest amendments. The program will also cover measures to enhance road safety and actions individuals can take to protect themselves and others while driving.


Additionally, information will be shared on common traffic issues and causes of accidents, ways to prevent accidents, the importance of working together to reduce accidents and road etiquette.

So far, 94 employees have been provided information in these sessions conducted by Road Safety Awareness and Prevention on August 13 and 14. This includes 57 employees from Fuvahmulah Hospital and 37 employees from the airport and STO.

 

As part of the Rakka Road Show, conducted jointly by the Maldives Police Service's Road Safety Awareness and Prevention, Sheesha Honda Maldives, and Allied Insurance Company, various activities are being carried out in addition to providing information. This program includes numerous activities aimed at raising public awareness about road safety.

The program in Fuvahmulah City is being conducted with the assistance of Maldives Airports Company, Maldivian, Fuvahmulah City Police, Fuvahmulah City Council, Women's Development Committee, schools, government institutions, as well as Obion and Playkids.
