A session on road safety and security was conducted for CHSE students

A road safety and security session was conducted for newly enrolled students at the Center for Higher Secondary Education (CHSE).

In this session held today at the CHSE Hulhumale branch, students were informed about what they need to be aware of while on the road, and the role and responsibility of students in promoting road safety and security. Information was also provided on the state of road safety and security in the Maldives and other countries, as well as how road safety and security are linked to the economy.

Additionally, information about land transport laws and regulations was shared.

The session, conducted by the Traffic Police Awareness and Prevention Unit, provided information to 521 students from the school.

Police continue to conduct series of programs to provide information on road safety and security to school students.
