26 Sep

Inspector of Police Adam Naweed conducted training at the INTERPOL E-Evidence First Responders' Training held in Dagupan, Philippines.

The training was attended by 16 prosecutors experienced in cybercrime cases, 4 members of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), and several police officers from the Philippine National Police (PNP), including representatives from the Regional Anti-Cybercrime Unit, Women and Children’s Protection Desk, and officers who have investigated cybercrime.

Inspector Naweed taught two modules during the training, covering the "Collecting Electronic Evidence" and "Interview and Documentation" processes, providing three hours of specialized instruction. His contributions were part of the wider effort to equip law enforcement personnel with the necessary skills to address the growing challenges posed by cybercrime effectively.

The INTERPOL E-Evidence First Responders' Training aims to enhance cross-border cooperation and ensure that investigators are well-prepared to handle electronic evidence in cybercrime investigations.
