Nationwide "Walk and Talk" Program Conducted Across Maldives

The Maldives Police Service conducted a nationwide "Walk and Talk" activity to foster a peaceful society, engage with the public, and address community concerns.

 

The initiative focused on enhancing police visibility, identifying crime-prone areas, raising public awareness of crime and scams, and building stronger partnerships with citizens to reduce crime collaboratively.

 

During the activity, police officers interacted directly with citizens, addressing concerns, gathering feedback on police services, and discussing ways to enhance policing.

The event was conducted simultaneously across all islands with police presence and saw participation from senior officials, including Commissioner of Police Ali Shujau and Deputy Commissioner of Police Ismail Naveen, alongside officers from various ranks and police stations.

 

This initiative has strengthened public trust, identified key community issues, and reinforced the Maldives Police Service's commitment to crime prevention and public safety.
