Walk and Talk Program held in Gemanafushi
08 JanGemanafushi Police Station conducted a Walk and Talk program on January 8, 2025, as part of its ongoing efforts to create a safer, low-crime environment and enhance community awareness.
The program involved police officers engaging with residents across the island, and exchanging information on crime prevention. Key topics included common crimes occurring in the area, tips on securing social media accounts using two-factor authentication, and guidelines for safe internet use.
Police officers also provided advice on conducting secure business transactions and addressed citizens' concerns about the services police provide. This open dialogue allowed community members to share their perceptions of the police while reinforcing trust and cooperation.
